Three solo albums in the course of 20 years can hardly be called overproduction. But Kirsten only sings when she has a story to tell. She sums up the past 13 years since her last album ("Min kvedarlund") by offering us a choice selection of traditional stev (short, originally improvised songs) and poems, both old and new, set to music. She is accompanied by Arild Andersen - bass, Nils Okland - ordinary fiddle and Hardanger fiddle, Paolo Vinaccia - percussion, and Bugge Wesseltoft - keyboards.
